Where does the money go?
Straight into opening costs: lease deposit, kitchen equipment, the bar itself, and staff before opening night. Funding progress will be posted publicly as the campaign grows.
When does construction actually start?
The rule is simple: the moment the meter hits $20,000 (20% of goal), we sign the lease and break ground. No stalling past that mark — every dollar after it goes straight into build-out.
Is the 10% discount really forever?
Yes — and it starts before G-A-Y KK even exists. Every founder gets 10% off immediately at White Buns Cafe, our current restaurant, as a thank-you for trusting us early. Once G-A-Y KK opens, that same 10% carries over there for life.
Can I get a refund?
No — like a gift card or a membership, contributions are final. That's exactly why the discount starts working right away instead of sitting as a someday-promise: it's 10% off a real meal today at White Buns Cafe, not just an IOU.
How do I confirm my payment?
After you scan and pay, send a screenshot of your payment confirmation to our LINE account. That's how we verify you as a founder and get your card issued — no forms, no waiting on email.
Where in Thailand will it be?
Khon Kaen — the heart of Isaan. It's central, well-connected, and home to a huge community that's never had a bar built with them in mind. Exact address goes public once construction starts.
Do I need to be part of the LGBTQ+ community to come in?
No. G-A-Y KK is a gay bar in the sense that everyone is unmistakably welcome — the only requirement is being friendly.
Am I getting shares in the business?
